Super Greek Seniors «Έλα να τα πούμε»
This program is tailored for Seniors (over the age of 65) who already speak Greek and would like to be given the chance to speak Greek MORE, to connect with people of similar background and interests and to expand their social network from the comfort of their home! Within a welcoming, lively, relaxed and fun atmosphere, we are focusing on discussion and activities about Greek music, cinema, history, society, nature, everyday life, travel, food and lots more!
Program Focus & Content
This course focuses on conversation. Using crossword puzzles, games, newspaper articles, videos and news bites, these classes offer the right environment for participants to interact and speak Greek with their friends, classmates and instructors! Guests from Greece will be joining these sessions from time to time to make our time together even more Greek and maybe bring some fresh Greek news & gossip to the table! ☺
Who is this program for?
This is an ideal program for Seniors who live abroad and love speaking Greek. Participants need to be 65+ and must speak Greek at an intermediate level or higher. So if you are Greek living in the USA, Australia, Africa, Asia or any other place outside Greece and would like to make new Greek friends, socialise, chat and bring yourselves closer to Greece, then this is the right place for you!
Types of Classes
All Classes are delivered via skype and participants can sign up for a private or a group class, and are able to join at any time of the year.
Group classes: These classes follow a regular weekly schedule with 2 x 90’ min. sessions per week.
Private: Participants can have up to 4 x 60 minute sessions per week. They need to follow a regular weekly schedule agreed between the participant and the teacher.
The only requirement is love and passion for the Greek language and all things Greek! Then you will need a computer, tablet or smartphone but no special IT skills to join your skype class! It is very simple and easy to join! Please contact us for more information!
